Elderly man killed in farm accident

GAINESVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - An elderly Wyoming County man is dead after an accident on Marquart Farms in Gainesville.

State Police responded around 1:30 p.m. Thursday to School Road and found an 86-year-old man had been struck by a farm vehicle while harvesting potatoes. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation into the accident continues. The man's name has not been released.
