Anthony Capozzi Released

(April 3, 2007) - - News 4 has confirmed that authorities released Anthony Capozzi Tuesday from the Central New York Psychiatric Center in Marcy.

Capozzi's release comes on the orders of a Judge who vacated his conviction Monday in connection with two Delaware Park rapes for which he was wrongly convicted and served more than 22 years.

Recently discovered DNA evidence links those rapes to accused bike path rapist and killer Altemio Sanchez.
