Athletes strike out drunken driving

WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Some local athletes are striking out drunk driving.

Crusade Against Impaired Driving held its first Softball Tournament at Sunshine Park in West Seneca.

The newly formed organization will use any proceeds to fight drunk driving and reduce the number of deaths right here in Western New York.

Crusade Against Impaired Driving was established in the memory of Deanna Russo's sister, Karen Kwiatkowski.

The 18-year-old was killed 10 years ago in a drunk-driving accident in Buffalo.
