Attorney Matthew Schnirel was the oldest of four kids from a
working class family, where his parents, a salesman and an
emergency room nurse, taught him the values of hard work and
helping others. Matt lived these values as he worked his way
through college in the capital of New York where he excelled both
in the classroom and the community.
After college, he returned to his hometown for law school
where he kept close community ties and relationships.
While in law school, Matt cut his teeth in a court room
setting. He competed in trial competitions across the country,
including New York City, Texas, and Michigan. Matt joined Doran and
Murphy in 2006 while still in law school, as a law clerk.
As an attorney, Matt worked hard and helped others in and out
of the court room. As a civil litigator, he worked for those
injured or wronged by the carelessness of others.
Matt was not the type of lawyer who worked only in the
background, as he took pride in client contact and working to make
the sometimes complex and confusing legal process manageable and
understandable to all of his clients.
Matt lived in the suburbs of Buffalo, New York where he grew
up and was an active member of the community.
