BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) - DEVELOPING STORY | Check back here for more details as they become available.

A concerned parent contacted News 4's Call 4 Action about pamphlets being handed out to children by the Evangelical Baptist Church in Lovejoy.

The pamphlets depict a father who kills his wife while he's drunk, before he is saved by the Church.

The story is written in comic book style to attract young readers.  The concerned mother who contacted News 4 said her 7 year-old was given the comic book by the church.  She thinks the message is inappropriate to be given to young children.

News 4's Lou Raguse is working to speak with representatives of the church.
