Bandits Improve to 5-0

Edmonton (bandits.com) - The Bandits defeated the Edmonton Rush Thursday night by a score of 13-8. The win now moves Buffalo to 5-0 on the season.
 
Mark Steenhuis and Mike Accursi led the Bandits in scoring with seven points each. Accursi started the Buffalo scoring with the first Bandits goal of the game at 1:03 in the first period and finished the night with a total of 5 goals and 2 assists. John Tavares posted six points (3+3). Roger Vyse scored a goal for the Bandits and posted one assist and Cory Bomberry contributed with three assists on the night.
 
Delby Powless, Cory Bomberry, and Brandon Swamp each took minor two minute penalties in the game.
 
Ken Montour made 47 saves on the night on 55 shots on goal.
