AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - Athletes aren't the only ones getting a workout at the Empire State Games. Spectators like you can take part in a fitness challenge.

It's called the Bluecross Blueshield "Good for You Fitness Challenge" and you're invited to compete on Saturday at UB's football and track stadium.

Members of the media tried it out today. They faced off at a pro-style obstacle course including baseball, hockey, football and more. Our own CW Star Alli Hartwick gave it a try on Friday. Saturday, the emphasis is on family fun.

All contestants from children to adults, will have the chance to win a corporate suite for a 2010 Buffalo Sabres game, including full catering! You'll also have a shot at "being a Buffalo Bill for a day," complete with a behind-the-scenes look into the locker room and a chance to meet the players.

Fitness Challenge Referee Sarah Mosser said, "We have ball toss into the hole right there, so you get three tries and after that you have to catch the football from the thrower and then go through the hockey course, stick handling and shoot."

Other prizes include tickets to the Bills, Sabres and Bisons. If you want a shot, games are Saturday from 9 a.m. til 5 p.m. at the south end of UB's football and track stadium. Games are open to the public and free of charge. Good luck!
