NCCC Advances to World Series

HERKIMER, NY (WIVB) - The Niagara County Community College baseball team has advanced to the Junior College World Series in Texas.  The Trailblazers beat Herkimer CC 10-2 on Sunday.  They will play in the NJCAA World Series for the first time in school history. 

NCCC will open play on Saturday in Tyler, Texas.  They have a 35-7 record this season.

Brett Backus (Newfane) and Brian Kwiatkowski (Tonawanda) were named to the All-Tournament team.
