BUFFALO (WIVB) - Last place beats first place. The Bandits dismal season reached a new high on Saturday night, when the beat first place Orlando 12-10 at HSBC Arena. Mark Steenhuis had six goals to lead Buffalo to their third win of the season.
Steenhuis also added four assists. Kyle Clancy had two goals and four assists. John Tavares scored once. Ken Montour made 43 saves.
Buffalo led 8-3 at the half, but the Titans pulled close, scoring seven times in the second half.
The Bandits improve to 3-6, and would move out of last place if Philadelphia loses in Calgary.
They begin a three-game road trip next weekend in Toronto.
