TORONTO (WIVB) - It was a frustrating, injury-plagued season for Bandits star John Tavares. As it ended Saturday in Toronto, Tavares is considering his future. The 41year old told The Buffalo News "my body's definitely telling me to stop."
Tavares did not score a goal in Buffalo's 13-11 playoff loss to the Rock. He missed most of the first half of the season with a leg injury, but did rebound to finish second on the team in scoring with 21 goals and 49 points in 10 games.
Tavares did sign a two year contract before the season.
Tavares told the paper he was also considering retirement after last season.
