Buffalo, NY - The road to a championship takes the Buffalo Bandits to Newark, New Jersey Saturday for the East Divison Final against New York.

The Bandits are trying to repeat as NLL Champs but they have to first get by a New York Titans team that beat them twice during the regular season. The Bandits say theyve had trouble with the Titans goalkeeper Matt Vinc.

"We really have to find a way to beat him," says Bandits coach Darris Kilgour.  I think it's one of the rare occasions where we actually out shot an opponent and out loose-balled an opponent.  Usually, we get out shot.

Bandits veteran forward John Tavares says there's some benefit to being a two-time loser to New York this year.

"They beat us twice this season, so I think theyre the confident team right now.  I think our team plays better when we have something to prove and we have our backs against the wall.  I don't want to way I'm happy that New York beat us twice, but it's going to be hard to beat us three times in a row."

The Bandits and the New York Titans for the East division title and a berth in the championship game tomorrow night at 7:30 in Newark.
