ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - More than a year has passed since the Bills' last road victory.
Eight straight losses have piled up away from home, including this year's Week One blowout loss against the Jets.
"Our away games we come out more flat than we do at home," said wide receiver Stevie Johnson. "Maybe that's it. I can't really put my finger on it."
Buffalo's last road win came all the way back in Week One of last season at Kansas City. With an 0-2 Browns team welcoming the Bills to town this week, the team is looking to snap the streak this Sunday.
"We need to get a win this week," said center Eric Wood. "They are coming in at 0-2 and desperate for a win. We are at 1-1 and desperate for a win. It will be a hard fought game."
The Bills and Browns kick off at 1pm Sunday.
Safety Jairus Byrd, who missed Wednesday's practice with an ankle injury, showed dramatic improvement today. Bills Head Coach Chan Gailey now says it is likely he will play this week. Linebacker Nick Barnett missed practice with a minor knee injury, but is not expected to miss any game time. Wide receiver Ruvell Martin, though, has already been declared out for this week's game with an ankle injury.
