ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - With six losses in the first nine games, the Bills have placed themselves in a tough position if they want to make a playoff push.
At the very least, they will likely have to go 6-1 over the last seven games in order to have a shot. That journey begins this Thursday against Miami.
"If we want to make this push this is the game that it has to start on," said wide receiver Stevie Johnson. "We hoped that it would have started last week or the week before that but it is what it is and Thursday we have the Miami Dolphins coming in, a division opponent and if we want to get to the playoffs we have to win this game and win on out."
"You want to win every game, our playoffs will start Thursday," said wide receiver Donald Jones.
Buffalo will host Miami Thursday, and could be without defensive end Chris Kelsay for the second week in a row. Kelsay did not practice Tuesday and Bills Head Coach Chan Gailey said he is "touch and go" to play this week.
