PHOENIX - With injuries piling up along the offensive line, the Bills hit the free agent pool to find some relief, signing veteran Reggie Wells Tuesday. Buffalo placed Colin Brown on Injured Reserve to make room.
Wells has started 91 of his 117 career games in the NFL, spending time with Arizona, Philadelphia, and Carolina.
Brown left Sunday's game with a hamstring injury and had already been ruled out for this week's matchup in Arizona.
With fellow backup guard Chad Rinehart struggling with an injury as well, Wells will provide some insurance this Sunday along the line.
