ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - Sunday will mark the second game of C.J. Spiller's official tenure as the Bills' starting running back, with both Spiller and Fred Jackson still adjusting to their new roles in the offense.
"It's a different role for me," said Jackson. "I'm going to go out and do what I'm asked to do... being in pass protection, with the carries I do get, trying to make the most of those."
Spiller carried the ball 14 times for 107 yards against the Colts last Sunday, compared to just six carries and 16 yards for Jackson.
"I'm not worried about, if I get it this many times or if I don't get it," said Spiller. "The only thing I can worry about when I do have the ball in my hand is to help my team be successful on the field."
The Bills host Jacksonville Sunday at 1pm in a game that will be blacked out locally on television.
