ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - After a season full of disappointment, the Bills are focused on heading into the offseason with a win this Sunday against the Jets.
"This is a game that they are not playing for a whole lot and we are not really playing for a whole lot in terms of playoff implications, but it is a pride game," said Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. "It is a game just to go out there and as Chan put it today ‘Who hates to lose?’ You go out there and we hate losing."
"It’s the last week and we have to give it our all," said wide receiver Stevie Johnson. "Obviously there are no playoffs. We are going against the New York Jets. We don’t like them, they don’t like us. It’s basically going to be a physical battle and whoever hates to lose is going to be the team that is going to win this game."
The Bills have a 5-10 record heading into the final game, with the defense closing in on possibly the worst single-season total for points allowed in franchise history.
"The way the season has been going is obviously not the way that any of us wanted it," said defensive end Mario Williams. "We have to come out and we have to win some way, somehow."
The Bills host New York Sunday at 1pm.
