ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - Some Bills players teamed up on Tuesday to help save lives in the community.
The Bills and the Red Cross hosted a blood drive at the Ralph. Fans who gave blood got a special gift and were entered in drawings to win prizes. Quarterback Trent Edwards says for him, this cause is personal.
Edwards said, "Every day we need more and more people need blood. I'm a person who was transfused six pints of blood in college and I had a serious injury and it saved my life, and there's plenty of other people out there that need their lives saved too."
