ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - More names are coming into play as the Buffalo Bills search for a new head coach.

The Buffalo Bills are getting busy lining up interviews with candidates for their head coaching vacancy. They interviewed Perry Fewell two days ago. News 4 Sports has learned of another candidate who may or may not be interested in talking to the Bills.

Arizona Cardinals Assistant Head Coach Russ Grimm is very high on the Bills list of potential candidates for the job. NFL sources tell us he has initially turned down the Bills request for an interview. Grimm would have to be interviewed next week with the Cardinals in a playoff game Sunday, but he may not be interested in talking to the Bills.

One coach who is interested is Vikings Defensive Coordinator Leslie Frazier. Minnesota coach Brad Childress says Frazier will meet with Bills officials in Minnesota.

Meantime former Bills assistants, like fired offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt, are on the lookout for their next job. We sat down and talked with Van Pelt.

Van Pelt went into the last preseason as the Bills quarterback coach and came out of it as their offensive coordinator after Turk Schonert was fired. It was a major upheaval days before the season kicked off.

Making matters worse was the string of injuries for the Bills, especially on the offensive line. While Van Pelt doesn't use it as an excuse, it was disruptive. Especially for guys like veteran center Geoff Hangartner.

Van Pelt is looking for another NFL job now, probably as a quarterback coach. But he'll have a tough time leaving Buffalo after 15 years as a player, broadcaster, and assistant coach.

Meantime there's a group in Los Angeles that is making more noise about stealing an NFL franchise and targeting the Bills.
