The Buffalo Bills announced that the team has signed OL Kendall Simmons to the 53-man roster. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Bills also announced that the team has placed OL Eric Wood on Injured Reserve.
Simmons joins the Bills after being released by New England on November 9. With the Patriots this season, Simmons saw action in one game and was inactive for six other contests. From 2002-08, Simmons started each of his 80 games played with Pittsburgh. The 6-3, 315 pound Auburn product originally entered the NFL as a first-round (30th overall) draft choice of the Steelers in 2002.
