OT Jamon Meredith has a spained knee, and will likely be out for a few weeks. Its not believed to be severe.
FS Jairus Byrd left the game in the fourth quarter with a groin injury. Its been a recurring problem Byrd has had since having sports hernia surgery during training camp. Jauron said Byrd was in Philadelphia tody, for a previously scheduled exam with a specialist.
TE Shawn Nelson is due to return after battling migraine headaches. DT Kyle Williams (knee) and FB Corey McIntyre (ankle) remain out and few weeks away. SS Donte Whitner (ankle) is still sore. SS Bryan Scott (ankle) is much better and ready to return to practice.
On Edwards, Jauron says Trent will return to full activity by next week. No word yet on whether he'll be a candidate to start against the Titans on November 15.
The best news regards Hardy. He will be activated from the PUP list this week, as per NFL rules. He has been practicing the past two weeks, and the Bills had to make a decision by Wednesday. Hardy has been out for 10 months since knee surgery late last year. The Bills will have to release a player off the roster to make room for Hardy.
The team will practice Tuesday and Wednesdy before taking the rest of the bye weekend off.
