Ralph Wilson Stadium - Tuesday was another off day for Bills players but the preparations for the Tennessee Titans resume Wednesday.
The Bills have had the bye week to take an in-depth look at their struggles and most of their struggles occur on offense. Running Back Fred Jackson has it figured out. He knows what has to happen to turn around the Bills offense.
"In my mind, I would say we need to run the ball better," Jackson says, "and protect Fitz or Trent, whoever is back there. If we can keep them on their feet, they can make plays for us. We have some explosive weapons at receiver, and we keep him on his feet, he'll be able to make some throws down the field, to them. And if we open up our running game, I think that's gonna open up the passing game, too."
The Bills still don't know whether Trent Edwards or Ryan Fitzpatrick will start at quarterback Sunday against the Titans. Edwards has missed the last two games with a concussion. Head Coach Dick Jauron is expected to clear up the quarterback question later this week.
