ORCHARD PARK, NY (WIVB) - The goal was to get Fred Jackson his well-deserved 1000 yard season.  A win would also be nice.  On a snowy, cold day at the Ralph, the Bills got both.  Jackson ran for 212 yards and the Bills beat the resting Colts 30-7.  Ryan Fitzpatrick threw three touchdown passes.

Jackson ran 33 times for 212 yards.  He had 102 yards at halftime, and finished with 1062 yards, the first career thousand yard season for the former practice squad player.  He also caught Fitzpatrick's first TD pass, that gave the Bills a 7-0 lead.

Fitzpatrick also threw TD passes to Lee Evans and Terrell Owens as the Bills broke out to a 24-7 halftime lead.

The Bills finish the season 6-10.

Peyton Manning played three series for the Colts, completing 14/18 passes for 95 yards.  HIs goal seemed to be getting Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark to 100 catch seasons.  Both did.  Clark had 7 catches to finish with 100.  Wayne had 5 catches to also finish with 100.  Manning was replaced by rookie Curtis Painter, who completed only 4 of 17 passes for 39 yards.

Bills rookie defensive back Carey Harris had two interceptions, as the Bills finished with 28.  That's the most since 1967.  Paul Posluszny led the Bills with 11 tackles.  Kyle Williams had 7 tackles and a sack.

The Colts, who already clinched home field advantage, lost their last two games to finish 14-2.

NOTES:  Orchard Park native Jon Corto made his first start at linebacker.  He finished with 8 tackles....Manning and Reggie Wayne passed Jim Kelly and Andre Reed for the second most catches from a quarterback to a receiver.  Joe Montana to Jerry Rice leads the NFL...Terrell Owens passed Tim Brown for 3rd on the NFL's alltime receiving yards list.
