It sounds a little bit like.."The dog ate my homework." Terrell Owens says he fell asleep on his couch Monday night and woke up Tuesday with a stiff hip. That's why he missed practice Wednesday and Thursday.
T-O was back on the field Friday, praciticing on a limited basis. Head Coach Dick Jauron says Owens is questionable for Sunday's game in Tennessee. But Owens says he'll be ready. He has not missed a game because of injury in almost five years.
The Bills have ruled three players out of Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans, all four of them starters on defense. Kyle Williams will miss the game with a knee sprain, as will cornerback Terrence McGee. Linebacker Keith Ellison is out with a quad muscle injury.
Listed as questionable for the Bills are Owens, Defensive End Aaron Schobel, Safety Donte Whitner, and Offensive Tackle Jamon Meredith.
Spencer Johnson is expected to get the start in place on Kyle Williams on the defensive line. Reggie Corner is expected to start in place of McGee. And Bryan Scott is moving down from his normal safety spot, to place Ellison's starting spot at outside linebacker.
