MIAMI GARDENS, FL (WIVB) - The loss in Miami was bad enough. But to make it worse, the Bills suffered some potentially serious injuries.
According to Head Coach Chan Gailey, the worst appers to be cornerback Terrence McGee. He was carted off after suffering a knee injury on a Miami touchdown in the second quarter. Gailey says "it's not good" and McGee is likely done for the season.
Donald Jones was also carted off with what looked like a possible broken leg. But Gailey says its another ankle sprain for the receiver, and he could be out from 3-6 weeks. Jones missed games earlier in the season with the same injury. The injured apparently looked so bad that CBS refused to show the replay on the game broadcast.
Fred Jackson left in the second half with a calf injury. Gailey said x-rays were negative, but he did not know the extent of the problem. Gailey said Jackson has been bothered by a calf injury in recent weeks.
Stevie Johnson, C.J. Spiller, David Nelson and Brad Smith also appeared to get banged up in the game. All stayed in and Gailey provided not updates.
