ORCHARD PARK, NY (WIVB) - If you haven't heart of Garrison Sanborn, that's a good thing for the Bills long snapper. It means he's been error-free during his three seasons in a Buffalo uniform. Monday, the team signed Sanborn to a contract extension to continue as the trigger-man for the Bills field goals, extra points and punts.
He's held the job for three seasons since joining the team in 2009, playing a total of 48 games.
The Bills also announced that Chan Gailey will meet the media Monday afternoon to discuss changes to his coaching staff. At this point, we do know that Dave Wannstedt has replaced George Edwards as the defensive coordinator. The team has also hired new quarterbacks coach David Lee, and needed to replace departed receivers coach Stan Hixon and assistant offensive line coach Bobby Johnson. The Bills did hire former U.B. defensive coordinator William Inge as a defensive line assistant coach.
