CLEVELAND,OH (WIVB.com) - Bills safety, Donte Whitner was officially charged today with Aggravated disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. The charges stem from a 3am arrest outside the House of Blues in Cleveland on Saturday morning. He was later released from the Cleveland City jail.
Whitner was apparently out celebrating the birthday of NFL player, Tedd Ginn Jr. at the time of the incident. According to police, a near riot had broken out and Whitner aggressively tried to push his way past the officers. One police officer had to deploy his taser on Whitner in order to put handcuffs on him.
Whitner is scheduled to be in the Cleveland Municipal Court in April 28th at 9am.
