ORCHARD PARK, NY (WIVB) - On Monday, Head Coach Chan Gailey didn't expect that his two star running backs would have any chance of playing Sunday against the Patriots. Now, Friday, even though listed as questionable, Fred Jackson is likely to suit up Sunday against New England.
Jackson practiced fully for the third straight day and said after practice that baring any set back he will take the field versus the Patriots. The Bills medical staff has cleared Jackson for contact. Jackson admitted that there is soreness in his right knee, but admits a divisional opponent will be enough to block out most of the pain.
As for C.J. Spiller, he is also listed as questionable and also practiced Friday, but is not expected to play. He is still recovering from a sprained shoulder. Head Coach Chan Gailey seeks a Week 5 week return at San Francisco for Spiller.
The Bills take on the New England Patriots and you can see the game on Channel 4, Sunday at 1pm.
