ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - Bills running back Fred Jackson could miss the rest of the season after injuring his knee Sunday against the Rams.
Jackson suffered a "Grade Two" MCL sprain, which typically carries with it a two-to-six week recovery period. With only three games left in the season, Jackson will likely end up on Injured Reserve - although that has not happened just yet.
Earlier this season, Jackson missed a pair of games with an injury to the same knee. He also missed one game with a concussion.
Bills Head Coach Chan Gailey said he has not made a decision whether the team will sign another running back to replace Jackson. Gailey said he may use fullback Corey McIntyre as the third-string tailback instead.
