ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - Former Buffalo Bills Quarterback and NFL Hall of Famer Jim Kelly is resting, following neck surgery on Wednesday.

Kelly’s wife Jill sent this tweet out Wednesday morning, “#12 will be getting neck surgery today. The surgeon wants him to be getting his procedure at 12:12. What a day!”

Since then, she’s sent out several other tweets including ones that said the surgery went well and he is on the road to recovery.

There is no word on where he had the procedure done. In the summer of 2011, Kelly had surgery on his back.
