ORCHARD PARK, NY (WIVB) - He is the Bills all-time leader in field goal percentage, and second in points. Now, Rian Lindell will have a chance to add those marks. Sources confirm to News 4 Sports that Lindell has agreed to a new contract.
The deal will allow Lindell to kick in Buffalo for a tenth straight season.
He missed the final eight games of the season after suffering a shoulder injury, and his absence was felt as two other kickers failed to maintain Lindell's consistency. Before he was hurt, Lindell made 13-15 field goals. He has never missed an extra point during his nine year career in Orchard Park.
Lindell trails only Steve Christie in career points scored with 878.
