ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Buffalo Bills are now waiting on the county and the state to make the Bills extended lease official. Monday night, NFL owners approved the terms of the new lease, keeping the team in Buffalo for at least the next seven years.

The deal calls for the Bills to pump $35 million of renovations into Ralph Wilson Stadium. Erie County taxpayers would pay $40 million. $55 million would come from the state. Last week, some downstate lawmakers were at odds, some didn’t want to devote so much money to the Bills.
