Bowling Green, Ohio (AP) - Javon McCrea and Mitchell Watt scored 16 points apiece to lead Buffalo to a slim 68-66 win over Bowling Green Saturday, as the Bulls notched back-to-back wins for the fifth time this season.

The Falcons led by a point at halftime and again at 64-63 with less than two minutes left, but Buffalo (10-6, 3-2 Mid-American Conference) closed strong to clinch it.

McCrea had a dunk with 1:32 to play and Dave Barnett followed that with a 3-pointer 35 seconds later to put the Bulls up for good, 68-64.

A late layup from A'uston Calhoun, who finished with a game-high 29 points, wasn't enough to prevent Bowling Green's third loss in its last four games.

Tony Watson II added 11 points for the Bulls, and McCrea was the team's leading rebounder with 13.

Dee Brown scored 13 points for Bowling Green (8-10, 2-3) and Scott Thomas chipped in 12.
