ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - One of the Bills' defensive leaders could be a game-time decision Sunday, with Jairus Byrd nursing an ankle injury.

Byrd hurt himself against the Chiefs, and Bills Head Coach Chan Gailey said today he has not showed any signs of getting better.

"He has taken a step back," said Gailey. "He is going to struggle to make some practice this week so we will have to see."

Along with Byrd, WR Ruvell Martin, DT Marcell Dareus, and RB Fred Jackson all missed practice. Martin also has an ankle injury, while Dareus was in Alabama today to attend his brother's funeral.

Jackson will miss this week's game, but has shown signs that his knee is improving. He met with a doctor this week, who gave him encouraging news. Jackson did participate a bit in practice this afternoon.

The Bills travel to Cleveland Sunday for a 1pm matchup.
