TORONTO, ONT. (WIVB) - A new report says Canada could support three new NHL teams as well as other major sports expansions.
The Toronto Star reports that the Conference Board of Canada reported trend in economics and demographics can support as many as three new NHL teams as well as three new Major League Soccer teams, an NBA franchise in Vancouver and a major league baseball team in Montreal.
The Conference Board report says that by the year 2035 another seven Canadian cities could support Canadian Football League franchises.
