PHILADELPHIA - Canisius is for real. The Griffs knocked off Temple Wednesday night, winning 72-62.
The Owls came into the game with an 8-1 record, after landing a 5-seed last season in the NCAA Tournament.
Canisius improves to 7-2 this year with the win. Billy Baron led the way tonight with 19 points, one of four Griffins in double figures.
Also tonight, St. Bonaventure pounded The Citadel 97-57. Demitrius Conger and Chris Johnson both had 16 points for the Bonnies.
