Canisius rolls in first game of CIT

Griffs top Elon 69-53

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Playing in the program's first postseason game in 17 years, Canisius rolled past Elon Wednesday night, winning 69-53.

Senior Harold Washington paced the Griffs with 19 points - one of five Canisius players in double figures.

Jordan Heath scored 13 points and registered 5 blocks in the win. Isaac Sosa (13), Billy Baron (10), and Josiah Heath (10) also hit double digits in the scoring column.

The Griffs' next opponent will be determined when the CIT re-seeds for the next round.
