BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Five games into the season, and Canisius has scored just five goals. One was enough to salvage a tie tonight, 1-1 against Air Force in the home opener.

Air Force struck first, holding a 1-0 lead after the first period.  The Griffins answered in the second, when Taylor Law scored off a rebound to tie the game at one apiece.

Neither team would score again. Air Force goalie Jason Torf finished with 30 saves, while Canisius netminder Tony Capobianco finished with 17.

Canisius falls to 1-3-1 with the loss. The Griffs will travel to face #2 Minnesota this Saturday.
