LEWISTON, N.Y. (WIVB) - After missing nearly two full years, Carsen Chubak is back on the ice for Niagara - and turning into a star.
Chubak leads the nation in Goals-Against Average (1.205) and Save Percentage (.962 %).
He started as a freshman, before tearing his ACL. While rehabbing that injury, Chubak found out he also needed hip surgery.
Then this season, he had to earn the starting spot in the preseason, before blossoming into one of the NCAA's best goaltenders.
