AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - While Daemen College makes the transition from the NAIA to the NCAA ranks, the Wildcats are enjoying their stay in the USCAA.

Daemen's women's basketball team has the #1 seed in the national tournament this week, while the men have the #3 seed.

Because of the transition period, Daemen is not able to compete in the postseason in either the NAIA or NCAA this year, leading them to join the USCAA on a temporary basis.

Both teams tip off tomorrow afternoon in the eight-team USCAA tournaments in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
