NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) - High School teammates in Niagara Falls, college teammates at Syracuse, Jonny Flynn and Paul Harris now wait to learn if they will both play in the National Basketball Association.

From their time as teammates at Niagara Falls High School, Flynn and Harris have dreamed about this day.

Thursday, both should be drafted by the NBA.

Flynn could go as high as fourth overall.

Flynn said, "This is great. A lot of people say this is a nerve-racking experience. But what keeps me calm is you got to look at it. A lot of people wish they were in our shoes right now. A lot of people wish they were invited to the green room, talking to you guys, in Madison Square Garden."

Harris was back home Wednesday with his family.

After working out for five NBA teams, he's hoping to be picked in the second round.

Harris said, "Kind of nervous. I worked so hard to come this far. I just want to hear my name called. First round, second round, last pick. I just want to hear my name picked. I feel special to just be in this kind of position, though."

In Niagara Falls, the city is buzzing over it's first two native sons to be drafted by the NBA.

Former Niagara Falls High School basketball coach Dan Bazzani said, "It was a great sense of pride for a city that's had it's ups and downs. To see two young men and a team like that have the success that they had and now two people, and maybe more, will be on a national level at the NBA level."

Bazzani wonders how many other high schools have had two teammates drafted in the same year.

We should get that answer Thursday.
