Corey Graham's Super Bowl start came Sunday in New Orleans - a long way from his high school field at Turner-Carroll in Buffalo.
The Ravens cornerback finished Sunday's big game with six tackles and broke up a pair of passes.
Back in Buffalo, Graham is far from forgotten. For those who know his journey, Sunday was a special moment.
"At every step, at every stage, he had to prove himself a little more," said Graham's brother, Mike Clark.
He played high school basketball for legendary coach Fajri Ansari at Turner-Carroll. Ansari, now the coach at Buffalo State, remembers him well.
"He worked... for his greatness," said Ansari. "He was gifted, I've seen a lot of gifted players. But Corey became great because he really worked hard."
Graham will take part in the Ravens' championship parade in Baltimore Tuesday.
