Jauron sat down with News 4 at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis. Lynch was arrested last week in Culver City, California, and charged with possession of a concealed, unregistered handgun.
His coach, Dick Jauron, told us today he has texted Lynch since the arrest but has not talked to him.
"You're disappointed any time an NFL player is in the headlines for something negative, more disappointed when he's one of our own. And he is one of our own," Jauron said.
"I have a lot of faith in this guy. The facts will eventually come out, and we'll see where it goes, but it is disappointing."
Jauron also talked about the Bills decision to keep him on as coach, a decision made in the days after the end of Buffalo's 7-9 season last year.
"I'm very excited to be back," the coach said. "Thankful, thankful to Mr. Wilson for another opportunity. I love coaching this team, I love living in Buffalo, I love the whole situation."
Jauron also talked about coaching decisions made last season, and how he hopes to improve those decisions in the 2009 season.
