BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Patrick Kaleta is out of the hospital and resting, but will not be in the lineup for the Sabres Thursday night at Boston.
Kaleta spent the night in the hospital after getting hit against the boards during the first period of Tuesday's game with the Maple Leafs.
Mike Brown earned a two-minute boarding penalty for the hit.
After Tuesday's game, Sabres Head Coach Lindy Ruff said it was a neck injury, and the team sent Kaleta to the hospital for evaluation.
Buffalo plays the Bruins Thursday night in Boston.
