ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - Leodis McKelvin has endured some ups and down in his career with the Bills, but he still believes he is a starting-caliber cornerback as he prepares to enter free agency.
McKelvin blossomed as a kick and punt returner this season, and showed improvement at cornerback over the course of the season.
He insists he wants to stay in Buffalo, but also wants to go to a team that will give him the opportunity to win a starting job at cornerback.
"I still strongly believe I can play in this league and be a starter," said McKelvin.
McKelvin is one of several key free agents for the Bills this offseason - a list that also includes Andy Levitre, Jairus Byrd, Bryan Scott, and Kyle Moore.
