Sabres goalie Ryan Miller is one of 18 NHL players participating in Tuesday's round of labor talks. The group includes 18 players and six owners, with both NHL commissioner Gary Bettman and NHLPA executive Donald Fehr sitting out.
The two sides met for more than five hours Tuesday evening before taking a dinner break. Discussions continued shortly after 10pm.
After failing to make progress with a mediator in the room last week, a meeting between owners and players is the latest tactic the two sides are trying.
