LEWISTON, N.Y. (WIVB) - Niagara tips off Tuesday night against Maryland to open the NIT, drawing a first-round matchup against the second-seeded Terps.

"We don't fear nobody," said sophomore guard Juan'ya Green.

NU earned an automatic berth into the NIT by clinching the regular season MAAC championship.

"It's March and we're still practicing," said Head Coach Joe Mihalich. "It puts you in the top 100 teams in the country."

Niagara takes on Maryland Tuesday night at 7pm.
