ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WIVB) - Niagara University will hit the ice outdoors next season, playing a game against RIT in Rochester. The game will be part of a 10-day hockey festival in the city, headlined by a Rochester Americans game.
RIT's men's and women's teams will play games on the rink, along with several high school teams and others.
The event will run from December 13th-22nd at Frontier Field, the home of the AAA Rochester Red Wings.
Sabres/Amerks president Ted Clark was on-hand to make the announcement this morning in Rochester.
