LEWISTON, N.Y. (WIVB) - Giancarlo Iuorio scored twice and assisted on another, as Niagara topped RIT 3-2 Friday night in game one of their best-of-three series in the Atlantic Hockey quarterfinals.
Jason Beattie also scored for NU. Carsen Chubak stopped 25 shots to pick up the victory in net. The wim improved Niagara's record to 22-8-5 on the season.
Niagara will host RIT again Saturday night, trying to sweep their way into the semifinals. Saturday's game is set for a 7pm start at Dwyer Arena.
