LEWISTON, N.Y. (WIVB) - Niagara left no doubt Wednesday night, roaring out of the gates to beat Hartford and hand Head Coach Joe Mihalich win number 250.

The Purple Eagles used a 14-0 run in the first half to pull away, winning 75-59.

Antoine Mason led the way with 19 points, while Ameen Tanksley added 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Niagara improves to 4-6 on the season. The Purple Eagles host Vermont Sunday at 2pm.

Next door, the men's hockey team skated to a 2-2 tie against RIT, extending NU's unbeaten streak to 12 games.
