BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - UB has perhaps its biggest conference game of the season on tap this week, and Head Coach Jeff Quinn is hoping star tailback Bo Oliver will be in the lineup.
Oliver has missed a game and a half with a leg injury, and is still listed as "day-to-day," according to Quinn, although he is getting closer to returning.
The Bulls travel to Ohio this week to take on the unbeaten Bobcats - a team just outside the AP Top 25 at the moment. It is a game list this, where Oliver would come in handy.
"If he's ready to go, he's going to play," said Quinn. "I'm praying every night. My wife even says, 'How long are you going to pray tonight?' And I say, as long as it takes to get Bo back."
UB's matchup with Ohio is scheduled for this Saturday.
